St Mary’s CofE Academy
St Mary’s is a Christian school which has a long and interesting history. First established in the 1860’s by Sir Charles Bunbury as two separate schools for boys and girls, with the girls’ school being held in the ballroom of the Bunbury’s Manor House, the school transferred to its present site in1902. Recognising its historic Christian foundation, the school preserves and develops its strong Christian ethos and religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England and in partnership with St Mary’s Church and the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich.

Bentley CEVC and Copdock Primary Schools
Our vision is for all children to be ‘confident individuals, successful learners and responsible citizens’ who are well equipped for future life, whatever that may hold.

At Bentley CEVC and Copdock Primary Schools, we have high expectations of every child and believe all children should be encouraged to make appropriate choices about how they learn. As two small village schools, we have the privilege of knowing each pupil as an individual, allowing us to carefully guide them in their learning to achieve good levels of progress and personal success. In close partnership with parents, we cultivate a love of learning, promoting and encouraging the development of important key skills and values within a caring and supportive environment. We are proud of our schools and value the strong community links we have both locally and within our community.
