Aims:

  • Clarify aspects of the current role of a Local Leader of Education
  • Deepen understanding about key coaching skills
  • Extend thinking about the work of teams

Over the course of the day we will:

  • Clarify the Role of the LLE in system leadership
  • Explore what you bring to the role
  • Provide opportunities to practice contracting and coaching
  • Enable LLEs to further develop questioning skills (in the context of coaching)
  • Consider ways of facilitating problem-solving
